About Us

Nature Encounter is a non profit organization formed by  a group of biologists and tourism professionals, young people committed to the sustainable development of the northern coast of Jalisco, México, with more than five years experience in biodiversity conservation projects, as well as in planning tourism activities in this area. We are actives members of The International Ecotourism Society (TIES). Our organization was founded in 2010 as a solution to the shortage of financial resources for environmental and biodiversity projects.
Our Mission is to contribute to social, cultural and economic development of the region in a sustainable manner, while promoting our clients appreciation and respect for nature and the local people through guided contact with the natural environment and tourism activities.
Through our services, travelers and tourists have the opportunity to live a unique experience, contact with nature, in private and exclusive amenities and at the same time contribute to environmental conservation and sustainable development in the area.
The active participation of local communities is key to achieving our goals, we have developed a scheme of arrangements that maximize the economic benefit within the local population and they are directly involved in our activities.

We hope to have the opportunity to show you how ecotourism is helping to biodiversity conservation!!!
